HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR FAMILY?

We have known one another since high school. She was the popular cheerleader; I was the socially-awkward introvert. I always admired her beautiful smile—albeit from afar—but, I could never summon enough nerve to ask her out. A chance encounter at a high school graduation party organized by a mutual friend lead to a tentative kiss that left an indelible impression on me for many years.
Over the years I wondered what might have become of us had we stayed in contact, but I never thought that I would ever have that opportunity. As fate would have it, one night I signed on to Facebook to find a “friend request” from her. I could hardly contain myself. Determined not to allow a golden opportunity to pass me by again, I swallowed my pride and asked her out. The rest, as they say, is history! The next year I moved to Knoxville to attend the same law school she just graduated from after visiting her and falling in love with her, the city and the school. It's cool that we attended high school and grad school together.

DOES FAITH PLAY A ROLE IN YOUR FAMILY? IF YES OR NO, PLEASE EXPLAIN.

I am now a 2nd year law student at the same school that my girlfriend graduated from last year. She was working out of town and I knew that I was ready to propose, but had to use the majority of my financial aid for the semester to afford a ring. When she came in town for a weekend to visit her friends I planned to get down on one knee in front of them, but I chickened out due to the presence of an audience. Two days later, when we were alone in a private moment, I came to her showering her with balloons, flowers (calla lilies and roses) similar to ones I bought her on our first date, a big wedding planning book, cupcakes from her favorite store, a handwritten card and finally the ring I had designed especially for her and paid for with my blood and tears. After many of her tears, she said "YES, OF COURSE". I also made a Facebook album to share the news with all of our family and friends in honor of how we reconnected on the site and showing pictures of us from the past two years of our relationship.

WHAT BRINGS GREAT JOY TO YOUR FAMILY?
My fiancee loves to take pictures and carries a small digital camera in her purse so to not miss the big moments. We love to go to greenways and we try new restaurants and movies if we can afford to.

WHAT IS A WORD, QUOTE, PASSAGE, VERSE OR SAYING THAT DESCRIBES YOUR RELATIONSHIP?
It's a Love Story: Marrying now after a crush 10 years ago in High School is amazing. She is my angel.
