HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR FAMILY?
We have been together a long time but we aren't married. We don't even live together. I think we'd just be a couple but then the dog makes three. I guess with three creatures you become family.

DOES FAITH PLAY A ROLE IN YOUR FAMILY? IF YES OR NO, PLEASE EXPLAIN.
He grew up in a big Korean church in Houston. I grew up in a small church in Strawberry Plains Tennessee. Neither of us go any more.

ARE THERE ANY CHALLENGES THAT YOUR FAMILY FACES THAT YOU FEEL ARE DISTINCT FROM OTHER FAMILIES?      Every year for Halloween we try to find a couples costume from pop culture. Never once have a seen an Asian male and white female couple in a movie. Sometimes we try to think of yellow and white things that would go together, but always end up deciding that is too racist for our tastes.
I don't think we are anything interesting. We were both born and raised in America. We have normal jobs. But then every once and a while I see another Asian male with a white girl together and even I'm surprised.
On the plus side, once I read that Asian males and White females make the most money on average than any other racial combination so I guess we have that going for us.

WHAT BRINGS GREAT JOY TO YOUR FAMILY?
We are second happiest when we are "sharing oxygen," which is when we don't talk to each other and I cook in the kitchen, Mark plays video games in the dining room, and Sheriff chews on his bone in the living room. That is pretty fun but nothing compares to drinking ice coffees, in the sunshine, at the dog park. Our dog is the best at playing fetch and ultimately we are only a family for him.

WHAT IS A WORD, QUOTE, PASSAGE, VERSE OR SAYING THAT DESCRIBES YOUR RELATIONSHIP?
Too much dog for too little bed.
